Universal Analytics End of Life
Google announced that it will deprecate Universal Analytics on July 1, 2023.
It is highly recommended that companies take advantage of the opportunity to migrate to Google Analytics 4 as soon as possible. Get your GA4 properties configured and set up if you have not already. This will allow you to avoid delays and make sure that your marketing efforts are on the right track when UA retires.
This will also allow you to find ways to deal with the data that UA currently stores, and experiment with email marketing, push notification marketing, and other solutions to the lack of third-party cookies.

Google Will Automatically Migrate Our UA account to a GA4 Account?
Unfortunately, the answer is no, nor is there an option for you to fully migrate to GA4 with one click. A new GA4 property needs to be set up in parallel to your existing Universal Analytics property, and Google makes it fairly easy to get this process going.
Do the UA Events Tracking I have set up in Google Tag Manager work in GA4?
No, it will not. Compared to UA, the data model in GA4 is distinctly different (yet much more flexible), making a simple transfer and implementation of Google Tag Manager (GTM) tags impossible.
Can I run GA4 parallel to Universal Analytics?
Yes! This is something we strongly recommend.
While you collect historical data and get familiar with GA4, we recommend Universal Analytics as your primary reporting platform. Once you have enough data, you can move on to the next step.
Can I still see my historical data?
After the deprecation date, you will still be able to see your historical data in your Universal properties for at least six months.
After the grace period ends, your historical data will no longer be accessible through Google Analytics.
